Conditions

Musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions affect joints, muscles or outer nervous system and include inflammatory disorders like rheumatoid arthritis and also degenerative problems like osteoarthritis, plus simple strains and sprains from everyday life. Whether your problem is new or longstanding our physios are trained to deliver the very best treatment approaches to get you better or equipped to manage your condition. Lincolnshire Physiotherapy & Sports Injuries Clinics also specialise in sports injuries and rehabilitation.

With a broad range of MSK conditions, disorders, and injuries, many different symptoms might arise. The most common include joint pain, tenderness, reduced range of motion, inflammation, muscle spasms or cramps, sleep disturbance, aching, stiffness, burning sensations and/or increased pain with activity.

MSK conditions fall within two categories: acute or chronic. Acute refers to sudden or severe injuries/conditions, e.g. sprained ankle. Chronic refers to long-lasting conditions, e.g. arthritis, where ongoing pain management is vital.
